Welcome to Bright Horizons Maidstone Turkey Mill Day Nursery and Preschool, purpose-built for every age and stage of your child's development, from 3 months to 5 years. Our nursery is eco-friendly, we have been awarded our green flag for eco schools. Our children are introduced to the importance of biodiversity, recycling waste and healthy bodies. We have our very own eco code, encouraging children to be resourceful and respectful of our environment.

With on-site parking and buggy park to ease your drop-off and pick up and close to Maidstone, the nursery is located on the A20 and has great links to Mote Park and Maidstone town centre and within proximity to Maidstone West Station and good links to London.

Across our age-focused rooms, we offer an exceptional start to schooling life through our enriching and wellbeing-focused Bright Beginnings Curriculum, designed by our own Early Years specialists. This holistic yet personal approach supports each child's wellbeing, development, and progress, whether that involves transitioning between rooms or preparing for school.

We promote imaginative exploration through role play and 'loose parts play', facilitated by practitioners trained in Helicopter Stories. This is a simple technique where educators transcribe children's stories, and the class performs them together, boosting early learning. This approach fosters independence and inspiring storytelling, while also supporting your child's confidence in reading, writing, math, art, and other areas for a happy and healthy learning experience.

Our all-weather garden ensures our children get their daily dose of fresh air. Providing freeflow access from each room to encourage independent exploration of the Our outdoor environments provides so many learning opportunities, it connects the children to the environment we live in it stimulates their senses and mindfulness. The garden areas are fully resourced to offer awe and wander.

While your child is busy exploring and having fun, we can keep you updated via our Family app. Available for all Bright Horizons parents, this will keep you connected with your child's day-to-day experiences and up to date as they develop during their time with us.
