We offer a warm, welcoming environment supporting the transition from home to nursery and provide excellent nutritionally-balanced menus using fresh ingredients prepared by our own chef. Extra curricular activities include Hartbeeps and Stretch ‘n’ Grow.

Nutrition

Our excellent nutritionally balanced menu is changed regularly to encourage a varied diet and is approved by the Childrens Food Trust. Here is an example of a typical menu.

Growing Mathematicians

1-2-3-4-5! Mathematics is embedded in everything that we do and experience in our day-to-day lives and our Growing Mathematicians programme has been created to help your child understand the purpose and importance of mathematics. 

Growing Readers

Growing Readers brings together home and nursery life, providing parents with some of the theory behind developing children’s reading skills, and also providing handy Hints & Tips, recommended reading lists and suggested activities for parents and children to explore together.

Growing Writers

Our Growing Writer’s approach supports the complex magical journey from making a mark, to emergent writing, to confident writer, laying the foundational skills that enable each child to flourish with the confidence and capability to succeed at school.

Meet the Team

Amy Teideman

I joined Bright Horizons in 2013 and started my journey here at Teddies Bracknell as deputy manager, before moving over to Dolphin Bracknell as deputy and then progressing to manager. During my recent maternity leave I decided to return to Teddies with my daughter Alana. Since returning I have a new found respect for working Mummies and Daddies and how hard it is leaving your babies.

I have been working in the childcare sector  for over 17 years in many areas from working as a nanny to supervising a pre-school. I have gained my degree in early years and education over the years and also my NVQ L3 & L4.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with Alana, going swimming and to baby classes. 

Chloe Moon

I have worked with Bright Horizons for several years, starting as a nursery practitioner in the preschool room.

I currently hold a level 3 diploma in childcare but enjoy taking on more training at every possibility. I have my SENCO training and incorporate this into our everyday practice.

I strive to deliver secure, nurturing and outstanding practice in which children can grow and develop at their own pace. I enjoy going for bike rides and socialising with my friends and family.
