A Spacious and Enriching Setting in Fleet, The Key

Your little one’s day will be filled with fun, adventure, and early learning at our bright and spacious Fleet Day Nursery and Preschool, which welcomes children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Dedicated Areas for Every Age Group

Babies love spending time in our baby room. Here our long-standing staff will bond with your little one, where they can enjoy cosy corners for quiet time and naps, and a stimulating environment to help them reach their developmental milestones.

Bright Beginnings

Designed by our Early Years specialists, your little one will get the best start to their schooling life through our enriching and wellbeing-focused Bright Beginnings Curriculum.

Building on the foundations of the government’s EYFS curriculum, it combines a wide range of activities to nurture and develop the skills your child needs to flourish and reach their full potential. This holistic yet personal approach supports each child’s development and progress – whether that’s moving rooms or preparing them for school.

All-Inclusive Nursery

Our all-inclusive nursery provides delicious, nutritionally-balanced meals that the children love tucking into. All meals, nappies, snacks, wipes, sun cream, and formula are included in your fees.

Action-Packed Outdoor Adventures

Your little one will be spoiled for choice when it comes to learning and discovering the outdoors. We have three large gardens, separated by age group, to ensure children are surrounded by the most appropriate resources for their individual development.

Preschoolers have access to our exciting adventure playground where they can practise their physical skills.

So Much to Explore and Discover

Thanks to our location on a beautiful new estate, your child will enjoy numerous outings in the local area. We frequently visit the nature reserve and local parks, adding an additional exciting element to their day.

Tiny dancers love spending time in our very own dance studio, as well as the Active Athletes room and children’s kitchen. These resources encourage movement, sport, and healthy food choices, giving your child the best experience at our nursery in Fleet.

AN EASY AND CONVENIENT LOCATION

Our Fleet nursery is located at The Key - close to Fleet train station - and is the perfect location for commuting parents and local families. We also have onsite parking and a buggy park at your disposal.

Meet the Team

Sarah Johnston Hertford Day Nursery

Sarah Johnston

I joined bright horizons in 2015, as Deputy Manager working at a client Bright Horizons, I then worked my way up to being Nursery Manager. Since joining bright horizons I have enjoyed working across different settings. I joined Bright Horizons Fleet in November 2021

I started my career in childcare in 2007 and loved every part of it, where I then went on and completed my NVQ level 3 in childcare. I love working hard and seeing the progress you have made on a child, I thrive at my position as I see this as we are sculpting the future.

I started my childcare career in 2007 as a Nursery Nurse, since then I have completed my NVQ level 3 in childcare. I joined the Bright Horizons Fleet team in 2011 where I was a room leader and have progressed in my career since. I was given the opportunity to develop my knowledge and took on the third in charge role in 2016, and then moved in to my Deputy Manager role in November 2021.  I have a passion for watching children progress and develop whilst being at nursery, and helping them learn new skills.

I joined Bright horizons in 2003 as a nursery assistant moving from the Farnborough nursery, I then went on to complete my level 3 in childcare  and then went on to develop my career being promoted to room manager of the baby room  and most recently third in charge in December 2021.

I really love working in the nursery and watching the children grow and develop and forming good partnerships with the parents.

Candy Floss

Candy Floss

Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.

Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!

Why Bright Horizons

The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
