Fleet Day Nursery and Preschool is located at The Key, and is in a great location for parents commuting into London. Our nursery is purpose built and located on a beautiful new estate, where the children often visit the nature reserve and enjoy trips to the local parks.
Children in the nursery are prepared to transition to school through our Unique Ready for School Programme which includes our bespoke Growing Readers, Writers and Mathematicians programmes. The nursery have a level 6 qualified Preschool Teacher among their experienced staff team. We have our own Soft Play Room, Dance Studio and three large separate gardens that the children can explore in all weathers.
We offer an array of extracurricular activities including Baby Yoga, Stretch and Grow, French and Spanish lessons for the children.
The nursery also benefits from an Active Athletes room, Creative Cooks room and Growing Scientists room, helping to foster a love of learning from an early age.
Our fees include all meals and snacks that are freshly prepared by our Chef, branded nappies, wipes, cream and formula baby milk as appropriate to ensure that transition from home to nursery is smooth.

Toni joined Fleet Day Nursery in January 2007. After 15 years running her own business, Toni decided to go back to her one true love, working with children as a Nursery Assistant. Toni trained for her Level 3 and completed this in 2009. She then trainied in behaviour management and special eduction needs and supported this throughout the nursery.
In 2011 she became a Room Leader in Pre-School. In 2012 she became Third in Charge/Deputy. In 2013 Toni moved to Churchfield House, Weybridge as the Manager and moved the nursery forward to Outstanding. In 2016 she returned to Fleet as maternity cover and is now Nursery Manager.
Toni has supported other nursery settings and is a mentor for the '30 Ready Managers' programme within Bright Horizons.
I joined the Nursery in June 2006 as a newly qualified practitioner working in the Baby Room. I quickly progressed to Room Manager and was successful in gaining a promotion to Junior Deputy Manager in 2008. I have held my current post as Deputy Manager supporting my team and families alike since 2010. I have an endless passion and energy for my role and work tirelessly across all age groups to ensure that great relationships are built with our children and their families, and that we deliver an exceptional standard of care and education with a Qualified Early Years Teacher Status.
I am the lead SENCo in the setting and I have supported numerous specific individual needs of many children helping them get ready for the next steps on their educational journey. During my time here I have been fortunate enough to be blessed with five boys of my own (Including twins!), being a working parent has helped me have an insight into the daily challenges faced when juggling small children and work commitments; an invaluable lesson in advising those around me.
The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
