Bright Beginning' for Every Child

Designed by our Early Years specialists, your pre-schooler will get the best start to their schooling life through our enriching and wellbeing focused Bright Beginnings Curriculum. Building on the foundations of the government's EYFS curriculum, it combines a wide range of activities to nurture and develop the skills your child needs to flourish and reach their full potential. This holistic yet personal approach supports each child's development and progress - whether that's moving rooms or preparing them for school.

Outdoor Learning and Exploration

With direct access to the garden at Woking Day Nursery and Preschool, your little one can explore the outdoors in a safe and exciting space. The Bright Horizons Family app will keep you informed of your child's activities and development. We have plenty of outdoor activities and apparatus, so they can explore their interests and always develop their individual skills and knowledge.

Ease and Convenience

Conveniently located for commuting parents, the nursery is just 10 minutes from Woking Train Station with a designated parent drop and pickup zone, and a handy buggy park.

Healthy hot and cold food prepared by an onsite chef (5* EHO rating for food safety and hygiene).

Meet the Team

Jenna Carter woking nursery manager

Jenna Carter

I started my journey at Bright Horizons in March 2010 as a bank staff member and have since progressed through the nursery working every position up to manager. As a manager I will use my business diploma, and NVQ Level 3 to support the staff team to provide enabling environments, as well as safe and enhancing opportunities to learn for our children. I am passionate about building children's confidence, characters, and becoming independent young people, to offer them the best possible start in life.

Farnham Deputy Manager

Yvette Whiffin

I have worked in childcare for over 13 years and have worked my way up from nursery assistant.  I joined Bright Horizons as a room leader and have recently taken on the role as Deputy Manager.

I work alongside the Nursery Manager to deliver the highest quality care and education for children and families. I also regularly spend time in the nursery rooms observing and mentoring staff in addition to spending valuable time with the children.

Candy Floss

Candy Floss

Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.

Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!

Why Bright Horizons

The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
