A Bright and Spacious Nursery in the Heart of Woking

Our beautiful Woking Day Nursery and Preschool is a light, airy space, specifically designed to support your child’s development from 3 months to 5 years.

For those at the earliest stage, our focus is on the transition from home to nursery. Our settling in sessions ensure your child has the space and time to feel comfortable, and our sensory baby rooms and toddler activities keep children engaged and happy in their learning.

Preschoolers are able to benefit from an enriching Ready for School programme that gives every child the opportunity to gain knowledge and confidence to thrive in school and beyond.

Under twos and preschoolers can enjoy freeflow access to our garden, giving them room to explore outdoors. Our onsite chef makes healthy, nutritious food every day to keep the children fuelled for learning and play.

Our nursery in Woking is conveniently located less than a ten minute walk away from Woking Train Station, with buggy storage and a parent drop-off area. We are rated Good by Ofsted and have a 5/5 star rating on Google reviews (as of March 2020).

We would love to meet you and your child, so book a visit today and we will show you everything our nursery has to offer during your own personal tour.

Meet the Team

Forest Park Nursery Manager

Jemma Dove

My name is Jemma and I have been working for Bright Horizons since 2015, I started my Journey here at Forest Park Day Nursery. This was great for my professional journey as it really allowed me to rain in on the nurseries home away from home feeling and also enabled me to build beautiful relationships with children, families and colleagues. I then continued to support a range of Bright Horizon nurseries which includes obtaining and 'Outstanding' Ofsted inspection alongside colleagues within my last role.

My main passion and driving force is to ensure children are provided with a safe, secure and nurturing environment which caters to children's individual learning abilities. This includes providing stimulating and nurturing learning environments, with engaged, motivated and nurture children and encourage them to explore with ease and reach their full potential.

Since becoming a mum to my Daughter back in 2016, I can really understand and empathise with parents and the journey we also face when choosing a nursery for our biggest pride and joys. Therefore I like to support, motivate and encourage practitioners to be the best role models they can be. Having completed a BA honours in Early Years I am always looking to enhance my own knowledge which allows me to support and empower colleagues.’

Candy Floss

Candy Floss

Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.

Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!

Why Bright Horizons

The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
