Forest Park Day Nursery and Preschool (formerly known as Teddies Bracknell) is located on the outskirts of Bracknell, just a short drive from Martins Heron train station, making it ideal for commuting to London and Reading.
We offer a warm, welcoming environment supporting the transition from home to nursery and provide excellent nutritionally-balanced menus using fresh ingredients prepared by our own chef. As well as delivering our bespoke Ready for School programme, we offer a range of extra curricular activities such as Hartbeeps and Stretch ‘n’ Grow.

Request a call backI have worked with Bright Horizons for several years, starting as a nursery practitioner in the preschool room.
I currently hold a level 3 diploma in childcare but enjoy taking on more training at every possibility. I have my SENCO training and incorporate this into our everyday practice.
I strive to deliver secure, nurturing and outstanding practice in which children can grow and develop at their own pace. I enjoy going for bike rides and socialising with my friends and family.
I have a Bachelor of Art Degree in Early Years and have been working in childcare for over 7 years. I also have a Level 3 Elklan Speech and Language certificate and have previously worked in nurseries as well as a private nanny. I aim to convey and promote a positive, patient, safe and secure environment so children can thrive and achieve at their own pace.
Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.
Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!
The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
