Meet the Team

Rebecca Howard

I have worked across a number of settings within Bright Horizons during my 8 and a half years with the company, starting out here at Farnborough in July 2012.

I started out my journey as a nursery assistant in the baby room and in 2015 I gained my level 3 qualification in children and young peoples work force. Shortly after receiving this qualification and with a thirst to gain further knowledge I enrol at Farnborough college of technology to gain a BA(hons) in early years education and practice, which iI was awarded in 2018.

I am passionate about supporting the individual holistic development of every child that attends our setting and I feel that the most effective way to achieve this is to work in partnership closely with our families.

My favourite part of any day is observing the creativity of our children and how it can extend their learning and development.

As a practitioner and manager I believe that ever day is a day to learn, and my favourite teachers are the children.

Farnborough Day Nursery and Preschool Deputy Manager

Tania Chadband

I have been in childcare over 10 years and started my career at Windsor Day Nursery Asquith in 2008 and worked my way up from nursery assistant, nursery nurse, Asquith nanny to deputy manager over various settings. Through my years of experience being both a nanny and a nursery nurse I can really sympathise and understand what a parent goes through with choosing a nursery and building that bond with the staff team. I really try to ease the parents and make them feel as comfortable as possible.

I am very passionate about childcare I love to spend time in the rooms and building up relationships with the children. I also love to strengthen and grow my staff team to the best of their ability. In my spare time I like to go to the cinema, go out for dinner and spend time with my family.

Candy Floss

Candy Floss

Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.

Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!
