Bright Horizons' nursery in Wokingham is located on Molly Millar’s Lane, close to the M4 with Wokingham train station just two minutes away, offering excellent access for commuters to Reading or London and local residents.
Children take part in a variety of activities, appropriate for their age. For example, sensory play is a primary focus for babies as they learn about the world around them. As they grow into toddlers, role play becomes prominent, before they reach preschool age and focus shifts to more structured learning, getting the children ready for the move to school. Being outdoors is also a common theme at Wokingham, allowing children to experience all weathers, as well as participate in our Growing Gardeners and Active Athletes programmes.

My name is Keely Fletcher and I have been working within the childcare and education sector for 25 years. I have spent time working in many establishments from schools, after and before school care, schools for children with additional needs and nurseries. I have a foundation degree in early year’s childcare and education which sits at the heart of many courses and qualifications completed to aid the delivery of high quality care and education. I very much look forward to meeting you and introducing you to the wonderful team here at Bright Horizons Wokingham Day Nursery and Preschool.
I began working in early years mid-1998 where I began working at the village pre-school that my children attended and it was here that I agreed to complete a Diploma and have never looked back.
Since then I have worked in a wide variety of settings from the term time village pre-schools to full day care nurseries and beyond, where I have also worked with teenagers who were not in Education Employment or Training and at this point I qualified as an Assessor.
During my time working in education I have continued to train to ensure my knowledge is kept up to date, and back in 2007 I gained a BA Hons in Early Years Teaching and Early Years Professional Status.
In 2018 I joined Bright Horizons and have not looked back, I now work from BH Wokingham where I find myself part of a very inspiring and welcoming team. I very much look forward to meeting you.
I've worked in childcare for 6 years and hold a BA hons in early years childcare and education - I was able to study at Portsmouth University whilst working at the nursery and I really enjoyed being able to learn and apply my knowledge at the nursery over this time.
As a Third in Charge I'm passionate about motivating everyone in delivering high quality care and education and staying engaged with the children here at Wokingham Day Nursery and Preschool.
The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
