A Beautiful Home-From-Home Nursery in Woking

Teddies Woking Day Nursery is designed to support your child’s development from the age of 3 months to 5 years.

Set in a welcoming refurbished house, our light, airy nursery features a large garden with plenty of themed learning spaces. Babies have their own area while over-twos can enjoy our home corner complete with wooden playhouse, or explore the trees in a bug hunt. Our lean-to guarantees fresh air even in rainy weather.

Baby and toddler rooms are vibrant and enriching, with sensory areas and play equipment to spark the imagination. Preschoolers benefit from an enriching Ready for School programme that gives every child the opportunity to gain knowledge and confidence to thrive in school and beyond. Our unique Healthy Hearts and Minds activities provide inspirational and engaging learning experiences using the innovative and well established Boogie Mites and myHappymind programmes.

Teddies Woking understands the importance of family connection. Staff permitting, if there are siblings from different age groups in our nursery, we encourage bonding by bringing the siblings to play together for a short time.

Our nursery in Woking is conveniently located ten minutes’ walk away from Woking Stations, close to amenities but set back from the traffic of the city centre. Our all-inclusive fees include formula milk, nappies, wipes and all meals and snacks, meaning you have less to pack on busy mornings.

We would love to meet you and your little one, so book a visit today and we will show you everything our nursery has to offer during your own personal tour.

Meet the Team

Teddies Woking Nursery Manager

Samantha Rose

I have been with Teddies Woking as Nursery Manager since 2004. I have previously worked at the nursery as the Room Leader of our Baby Room and then as Deputy Manager after joining the nursery in November 1998.

I am NNEB qualified and completed my training at Guildford College, gaining my qualification in 1991. Since qualifying I have worked in day care and have enjoyed meeting many families and watching the children in my care grow and learn, while developing my skills and progressing to my current role.

Candy Floss

Candy Floss

Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.

Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!

Why Bright Horizons

The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
