Meet the Team

Samantha Rose

I have been with Teddies Woking as Nursery Manager since 2004. I have previously worked at the nursery as the Room Leader of our Baby Room and then as Deputy Manager after joining the nursery in November 1998.

I am NNEB qualified and completed my training at Guildford College, gaining my qualification in 1991. Since qualifying I have worked in day care and have enjoyed meeting many families and watching the children in my care grow and learn, while developing my skills and progressing to my current role.

Ana Santos

I am Portuguese and finished all my studies in Portugal. I have a Degree in Modern Languages and Literature and have successfully completed a course in teaching both English and Portuguese. I also have a Master’s Degree in Special Needs Education and have worked with and taught ages 3-17 and also worked with some adults. I started working at Teddies in November 2015 joining the Baby Care team. I then became the Room Manager for Baby Care in March 2016. In May 2016 I became the Nursery Deputy Manager.

Candy Floss

Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.

Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!
