You and your child will love our nursery in Sevenoaks, which provides exceptional care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

In line with the Early Years curriculum, we practice Growing Enhancements – a programme unique to Bright Horizons focusing on reading, writing and mathematics, as well as creative skills, to support your child in their transition from nursery to school. Our extra-curricular activities include Boogie Mites and myHappymind, encouraging a healthy lifestyle from a young age.

To support your child’s natural curiosity for the outside world, Sevenoaks nursery has a large garden. It is split into two age-specific sections, so your little one feels comfortable in their outdoor play. Our garden is refurbished every three years to keep it as safe and exciting as possible. We also take children on walks to the local parks, where we host our sports days, and further afield on excursions to Knole Park.

We have strong links with local schools in the community, most notably Riverhead Infants School. Children have also been on educational visits to the train station and fire station, giving them the opportunity to learn from their local community.

Sevenoaks day nursery’s efforts to deliver exceptional care and education have been recognised by Ofsted, who have rated us Good in their latest inspection, as well as on Google reviews, where we have a 5/5 star rating (as of December 2019).

We would love to meet you and your little one, so book a visit today and we will show you everything our nursery has to offer during your own personal tour.

Meet the Team

Maidstone Turkey Mill Nursery Manager

Jenna Spring-Gay

My journey began as a Nursery Nurse before becoming a Head of Unit and shortly afterwards became a Head of Unit. I progressed to a Deputy Manager role in 2006 and in September 2010 became a Nursery Manager.

I have an NVQ level 3 and 4 in childhood studies and have also continued to attend training through the years including Senco training so I can support children, parents and staff to meet the needs of all children and give advice and suggestions when needed.

I am very passionate about what I do and set high expectations to ensure we provide a high quality service, care and education, providing enabling environments for all the children.

Teddies Sevenoaks Nursery and Preschool Deputy Manager

Marie Jeffery

I have been working at Teddies Sevenoaks since 2003. I joined as a Nursery Nurse and worked within our Baby Room for seven years, during which time I was promoted to Head of Unit. I am now the Deputy Manager and have been since 2010. I really enjoy my role as no two days are the same!

I started my childcare career in 1994 after gaining my NNEB Diploma and started working in a London Primary School as a Nursery Nurse within 3 Reception classes and then went on to set up an early years unit within the school. I left in 1998 to have my daughter and took a career break until joining Bright Horizons. Whilst at Bright Horizons, I have had a son, who has benefitted from the full Bright Horizons experience. I fully appreciate a parent’s perspective when looking around the nursery and strive to put them at ease as much as possible tailoring each personal tour to meet their needs.

Candy Floss

Candy Floss

Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.

Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!
