Welcome to Bright Horizons Reigate Day Nursery and Preschool, set in a beautiful light and airy, purpose-built nursery with six age-appropriate rooms designed for every stage of your child’s development, from 3 months to 5 years, just off the A217 Cockshot Hill, our nursery offers convenient onsite parking and a buggy park to ease your drop-off and pick-up process.

At our nursery, we offer a gradual settling-in process spanning two to three weeks. It begins with a one-hour session where a parent accompanies their child, facilitating a smooth transition and allowing for the sharing of routines and individual needs. As confidence grows, the child progresses through three to four additional sessions, culminating in a half-day session. These sessions enable families and children to get to know the nursery and build bonds with key members of staff. Younger children settle into our nurturing under-three’s units, while preschoolers receive their book bag and polo shirt in preparation for book club sessions, tailored to prepare them for their next school steps.

Our under 2s rooms provide a perfect haven for babies with its nurturing environment, equipped with cots, a milk kitchen, and ample opportunities for your child to recharge and refuel. Indoors and in our baby garden, children are encouraged to safely practice their newly developing physical skills using a range of sturdy and soft furnishings.

Children love exploring with more increased independence in our Toddler and preschool units, where they can truly begin to discover their personalities and passions. Our Bright Beginnings curriculum and Growing Enhancements encourage your child's early academic and creative skills, including hand and eye coordination activities, number skills, recognition of letter names and sounds, cooking and more, all of which build the skills required for reading, writing and mathematics.

Preschoolers thrive in our rooms designed to foster learning through play. Our Ready For School Programme encompasses Growing Enhancements and ensures your child learns essential life skills such as serving themselves at mealtimes, tying shoelaces and communicating effectively.

Additionally, preschoolers have access to their Rainbow room for extra curriculum activities, such as yoga, Boogie Mites, an interactive music and movement session loved by children of all ages, offering exciting opportunities to learn about the world through music and song.

With three large gardens providing stimulating environments tailored to the developmental needs of babies and toddlers, our centre offers a variety of engaging spaces for different age groups. Toddlers delight in our specially designed free-flow garden, where they can safely explore and play independently. They can balance on beams and bikes, interact with the music wall, and engage in creative role-play in the mud kitchen. Preschool children, aged under three, also enjoy free-flow access to their dedicated gardens.

While your child is busy exploring and having fun, we can keep you updated via our Family app. Available for all Bright Horizons parents, this will keep you connected with your child's day-to-day experiences and up to date as they develop during their time with us.
