Meet the Team

Rebecca Fergus

I started my journey with Bright Horizons as a nursery nurse and became manager of our Highgate nursery in 2014, before joining Chiswick Park in 2016. I have been in childcare since 2005 and have a level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education.
My passion is providing stimulating and caring environments for children to play & learn. The children we work with inspire me every day as I watch them grow from a crawling baby to a preschooler who is writing their name for the first time.

Gina Brewster

I joined Bright Horizons after over almost 10 years in childcare. I started off as a playground assistant in 2007 and became a nursery nurse in 2008 which is when I also completed my NVQ Level 3 in Childcare. In 2011, I then went on to become a room leader and am now the deputy manager at Chiswick Park.

I am excited to have joined the Bright Horizons team and continue this adventure at Chiswick Park and looking forward to further learning and development throughout my career. I am passionate about childcare and believe the safety of our children is of the utmost priority.

Candy Floss

Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.

Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!
