A place to grow

Reigate Day Nursery is an 'Outstanding' Ofsted rated children’s day nursery located just a short walk from Reigate Train station and in the close catchment of many schools, which include Holmesdale, Wray Common, Priory, St Josephs, St Marys, and Micklefield.

Reigate Day Nursery uses the Early Years Foundation Stage to encourage your child’s development from the ages of 3 months to 5 years; each room focusing on different areas within this curriculum. Diversity is nurtured in every room by supporting languages of children who may have English as an additional language or dual language at home. Independence at meal times is promoted in all rooms from 15 months and up by encouraging the use of cutlery at meal times, serving food onto a plate, cutting fruit and pouring water.

Reigate Day Nursery uses the key worker system to help your child build a bond with a familiar carer who will support them throughout the day. This ensures that every child’s individual needs and interests are catered for.

Angela Gallagher

I have worked in childcare for 30 years having completed my NNEB. I have worked in various roles, from social service day nurseries, Romanian orphanages, nannying for triplets before going on to manage nurseries. I enjoy meeting parents and children and nurturing the families during our settling in sessions.

Myself and my long serving team provide a fun, stimulating and creative environment for all the children who join the nursery.

Sarah Hulse

I have been in childcare for 20 years. After completing my NNEB, I went to work as a nanny in America. On returning, I carried on working as a nanny in the UK before working in France as a childcarer in a hotel for the ski season. I have been at Asquith Nursery, Reigate since 2003, working my way up from Supervisor to Assistant Manager. As a mum of 2 children who attended the nursery, I know how hard it can be to leave your little one so I am able to nurture parents during this time.

Tina Oliver

I have worked in childcare for 21 years, having completed my NVQ 3. I have worked in several nurseries where I have worked my way up from Nursery Assistant to Nursery Manager.

I have been at Asquith nursery in Reigate since 2015 where I started as Third in Charge and room supervisor of 2-3 year old room; in 2016 I was promoted to Assistant Manager.

I am now Room supervisor and Assistant Manager of the 2-3 year old room. I like seeing how the children develop, meet their goals and progress as they get older and to know that we play a big part in that.

As well as Assistant Manager I am also the health and safety coordinator for the nursery where I ensure that the environment is safe for all children, parents, staff and visitors.

Candy Floss

Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.

Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!
