A place to grow

Bromley Pre-School & Day Nursery is a friendly environment that welcomes children from three months to five years and we are rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted.

We are based in a lovely converted house and have the benefit of a separate baby suite which allows for a gradual introduction to nursery life. We provide an 8 week settling in process free of charge to ensure that there is a quality period of getting to know one another. Our highly-qualified and motivated childcare team at Bromley children's day nursery has a vast wealth of knowledge and experience within the childcare sector.

We are constantly striving to meet very high standards and our partnership with parents is extremely successful. The nursery staff will go the extra mile to meet all individual needs of children, and their parents, so they have a very happy and exciting day. We also have a good relationship with all of the local schools who we provide developmental reports for an easy transition into school life. We will be delighted to welcome you to Bromley Pre-School & Day Nursery.

Our friendly, experienced and highly qualified staff are on hand to conduct a personal nursery tour.

Meet the Team

Nick Huddart

I started at Bromley 12 years ago as a volunteer and never looked back. Since that day I have grown with Bromley and became the Manager through amazing refurbishments as well as proud of celebrating the nursery’s fantastic ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted achievements.  We have recently achieved our second Outstanding in a row and I am extremely proud to be working, celebrating and supporting an amazing team as well as being a child again!

Emma Thomas

I have had 8 years’ experience in childcare and have a Level 3 Cache Diploma in Childcare and Education. I joined the company in 2014 as the Pre-school Supervisor, and over the years I have progressed and worked my way up to Third In Charge and have recently become Assistant Manager. I am passionate and love supporting all children and staff to achieve the highest and outstanding care possible.

Candy Floss

Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.

Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!
