Meet the Team

RAF Northolt Day Nursery and Preschool Manager

Jodi Roth

My journey with Bright Horizons started through a company acquisition in 2009 and I have been Nursery Manager at RAF Northolt since October 2012.  I have a BTEC National diploma in childhood studies and have over 20 years’ experience. My passion for childcare and Early Years started with a year 10 work experience position and has grown over the years of working within the childcare sector in various roles. I enjoy working with people and believe that childcare is one of the most rewarding jobs you can do. Watching the children grow into active learners, where their individuality can shine and their confidence grows. Working with a motivated staff team all striving for the same outcome and learning opportunities for the children in a safe and stimulating environment. I am also passionate about supporting our families on their journey through their child’s early years.

Candy Floss

Candy Floss

Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.

Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!
