Welcome to Inglewood Day Nursery and Preschool. Our nursery is set in a specially redeveloped and enhanced home, which is full of character and bright, airy rooms. At our nursery in Reading, we’re dedicated to providing the best care and early education for children aged 3 months to 5 years.
In our under 2s rooms, the children have lots of space to explore and have access to their own garden. We follow your little one’s routine from home as closely as possible, to ensure a smooth transition to nursery life.
In our toddler room, the children enjoy open-ended play and have access to their own special garden. The room also benefits from a toilet area to start perfecting those toilet training skills.
In preschool, your child will learn the key skills they need to succeed and thrive in school. Our early years teacher supports the children with a range of stimulating activities both indoors and outside in our garden, which the children can access throughout the day.
Children also enjoy Boogie Mites music sessions where they can learn about the world through music and song.
Your little one will get the best start to their schooling life through our enriching and wellbeing-focused Bright Beginnings Curriculum, designed by our own Early Years specialists.
Building on the foundations of the government’s EYFS curriculum, Bright Beginnings combines a wide range of activities to nurture and develop the skills your child needs to flourish and reach their full potential. This holistic yet personal approach supports each child’s wellbeing, development, and progress – whether that’s moving rooms or preparing them for school.
You can stay updated with your child’s day through our Bright Horizons Family app.
To ensure your little learner is confident to start school, our older children take part in our Ready for School programme, which brings structure and focus to maths, reading, writing, and other essential skills they need to get ready for school.
As well as our beautiful and bright classrooms, we have a range of specialist rooms for your child to enjoy. We have a redesigned, vibrant sensory room which caters to children of all ages, a dining room where your child can enjoy meals with their friends, a sleeping room to ensure peaceful naps, and a children’s kitchen to explore recipes and healthy eating.
We are the only nursery in the area with direct access to our own private, heated indoor pool and we have two qualified swimming instructors to provide small-group swimming lessons. We also have access to our sports coach, who offers lessons in tennis, football, rugby, and obstacle courses in our sports hall.
We’re very lucky to have a beautiful 1-acre outdoor space, which is divided into age-specific areas, ensuring your child always has the best resources for their development.
Our spacious garden offers lots of space to explore and provides a wealth of exciting learning opportunities in the great outdoors. From a forest area for going on mini beast hunts, a planting area to learn about how plants grow, and a treehouse climbing frame, there is always something new to discover.
We’re so excited to meet you and your little one. To learn more about our nursery in Reading, or to see us for yourself, please get in touch and we’ll arrange a personal tour.
*A very small number of our nurseries are not able to offer all of the above, please check with your nursery for specific details.
Baby and toddler care items are all included, together with all food and snacks (and milk for babies under 1 year-old). We offer milk alternatives and dairy- free milk to children with allergies.

Our calculator enables you to estimate your basic fees BEFORE childcare funding is applied. We’ve taken this approach as funding is dependent on your own very individual situation, how old your child is, where you live, whether you’re working and so on.
Our comprehensive funding guides provide guidance on what funding you’re likely to be eligible for, we can send this to you after you’ve estimated your fees.
When you visit us, we can also help you understand your options and work out what your net fees will be after any childcare funding is taken into account.
Oops! We appear to be having a few technical challenges! Our team is working hard to get our fee calculator back up and running soon as soon as possible. Thanks for bearing with us.
In the meantime, if you need some answers or to book a nursery visit, then please call us on 01184022390, our friendly team is here to help.
