An outstanding and inspiring nursery at Canary Warf

Situated close to Canary Wharf underground station, our bright and homely nursery is perfect for working families. Every aspect, from our carefully planned rooms to our experienced staff, is designed to help your child’s development, from the age of 3 months to 5 years.

Canada Square children enjoy the use of a huge indoor garden with a life size climbing train, ride on bikes and cars, and lots of space to run around. We also take advantage of our location – with daily trips out along the riverside to watch the clipper boats.

Bright Horizons nurseries have a wide range of play and learning activities designed to encourage happy, confident children who are ready to enjoy a lifelong journey of learning. This includes our unique Growing Programme, a unique set of enhancements that focus on improving preschoolers’ reading, writing, science, maths, physical activity, art and more.

The children also enjoy weekly visits from our Sports Coach, and Bilingual Beats extracurricular sessions at no extra cost.

All-inclusive fees mean that you have less to pack on a busy morning, with everything from healthy lunches and snacks to branded nappies and wipes included.

The nursery is located less than five minutes’ walk from Canary Wharf station on the Jubilee Line, and is just outside Canary Wharf shopping centre.

The dedicated nursery team would love to meet you and your little one, so book a visit today and they will show you everything the nursery has to offer during your own personal tour.

Meet the Team

Bright Horizons East India Dock Nursery Manager

Malcolm Vickery

I have been in childcare and with Bright Horizons since 2007 and during this time I have worked in many nurseries within the company.

I started my journey as a student at our Epping, Essex Nursery and qualified in 2007. I then progressed my way to a Nursery Manager in 2011.

I wanted to work in childcare because I wanted to make a difference to a child’s life, to watch them grow and flourish.
I look forward to meeting you in my nursery

Alternative Female Manager Silhouette

Nicoleta Cotoc

I have been working for Bright Horizons since 2010, starting as lunch cover in Our Chelsea Day nursery, nursery nurse and after I gained my L3 qualification in 2014 I progressed to room leader  and after to Deputy manager.

I have worked in few bright horizons settings and now I have 5 years experience as deputy manager. I have started my journey at Canada  Square in October 2019. I enjoy watching children learn and grow, helping them as they grow and face new challenges.

I have gained childcare experience  with all age groups, I believe that every child is unique and I take pride in supporting individual needs of children and providing an enriching environment that helps every child thrive and blossom in our care.

Candy Floss

Candy Floss

Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.

Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!

Why Bright Horizons

The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
