Golders Green Day Nursery and Preschool

Welcome to Bright Horizons Golders Green Day Nursery and Preschool, set in a lovely converted residential property where we ensure your child develops a life-long love of learning with our bespoke Bright Beginnings curriculum for children aged 3 months to 5 years. We are conveniently located near Golders Green and Brent cross tube stations. With longer opening hours from 7:30am to 6:30pm and the use of our onsite buggy sheds, we are the perfect choice for commuting parents.

In our homely Under-two’s room, we follow children’s individual routines from home to help provide a smooth and easy transition to nursery life. With our home away from home experience our Under 2’s enjoy activities that not only interest them but provide stimulating experiences to support their development. Mealtimes are enjoyed together around the table, and we also have a separate sleep area and private baby garden where the home away from home experience carries on.

Our 2-3’s room, provides the children with space to explore freely, build on their own independence and choose activities that most interest them. The 2-3’s room has access to its own garden and includes lots of activities such as a water feature, planting area and a space for digging.

Preschool is an active room for children aged 3 to 5 years. Here, your child will learn all the skills they need to prepare them for school with the option of wearing their own Bright Horizons uniform! They also have free-flow access to their own garden with plenty of space and fun resources.

In addition, we offer Boogie Mites an interactive music and movement session, which is loved by children of all ages and provides exciting opportunities to learn about the world through music and song.

To ensure your child is confident to start school, our older children take part in our Ready for School programme, which brings structure and focus to the nursery day and will support them to solve problems, work with others and be ready to learn at School.

While your child is busy exploring, learning through play and having fun, we can keep you updated via our Family app. Available for all Bright Horizons parents, this will keep you connected with your child's day-to-day experiences and up to date as they develop during their time with us.

As our children and staff come from a range of cultural and social backgrounds, we are sensitive to all individual needs. Our long-standing team staff speak many languages, which allows us to effectively communicate with the children in our care and form strong partnership bonds with parents.

For new families joining us we are also pleased to offer complimentary settling-in-sessions first starting with an hours visit and extending as your settling period continues.
