AN OUTSTANDING AND EXPANSIVE NURSERY IN FARNHAM

Our bright and modern nursery in Farnham provides Outstanding quality care to children aged 3 months to 5 years.

We have a newly opened Ready for School Room that focuses on our Growing Enhancements, such as Growing Readers, Writers and Mathematicians. This helps us to further support children and parents with the important transition to school and is in addition to our regular Preschool Room.

To support your child’s early development, we have separate baby rooms for children up to 18 months old and under 2 years respectively, giving peace of mind to new parents.

Farnham nursery boasts an expansive outdoor area that provides children with another environment in which to learn and explore. Your little one will love our climbing frames and can experiment with shape and texture in our sheltered sandpit.

We understand the importance of community enrichment and take the children on regular walks to enjoy and become familiar with their local surroundings. We also visit local nursing homes on a fortnightly basis, with youth and wisdom both benefiting and learning from each other.

Our Farnham day nursery is located on Wilkinson Way between David Lloyd Farnham and Farnham Rugby Club. On-site parking and a buggy storage area ensure drop-off and pick-up times are as safe and convenient as possible.

Ofsted has recognised our efforts to create the perfect learning environment by rating us Outstanding in their recent inspection.

We would love to meet you and your little one, so book a visit today and we will show you all our nursery has to offer during your own personal tour.

Meet the Team

Farnham Deputy Manager

Yvette Whiffin

I have worked in childcare for over 13 years and have worked my way up from nursery assistant.  I joined Bright Horizons as a room leader and have recently taken on the role as Deputy Manager.

I work alongside the Nursery Manager to deliver the highest quality care and education for children and families. I also regularly spend time in the nursery rooms observing and mentoring staff in addition to spending valuable time with the children.

Sarah Murray

I have worked in many Bright Horizons nurseries throughout my 13 years with the company.

I have a BA Hons in Early Years Education and now have two of my own children who attend a Bright Horizons nursery also. I have carried out numerous managerial roles within Early years and come with a wealth of experience. I am pleased to be working alongside the excellent team at Farnham.

Candy Floss

Candy Floss

Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.

Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!

Why Bright Horizons

The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
