I have been working at Winchester nursery for two years, having transferred down from a Bright Horizons Nursery in London. Childcare is a true passion for me as I look forward to supporting the children’s learning and development as well as supporting the team with developing into outstanding practitioners. Being the Nursery Manager at Winchester is the most rewarding job, just seeing the children learn and grow on a daily basis as well as having such great working relationships with parents makes every second of the day worthwhile.
I have been working in a nursery setting for 8 years. I started as holiday cover whilst at college completing my Level 3 qualification. I have worked with lots of wonderful practitioners and children who have helped me develop my practice along the way and become the Deputy Manager. I am very fortunate to be working in a nursery setting, as I love nothing more than providing opportunities and watching children develop.
The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
