I first wanted to work with children when my nieces and nephews were born. This started my passion when I went on to complete my level 3 at college.
My career in childcare started at our Richmond nursery. After a short while I was promoted to a room leader and then transferred to Barnes to become the Deputy Manager. During my time working at Barnes I have found my passions that I can share with the children which is encouraging exploring through play and assisting children to develop their senses through sensory development.
I have over 10 years’ experience in child care and management, qualified to NVQ Level 3.
I live in London but moved to Swindon for 2 years in 2016 were I first joined Bright Horizons. I recently relocated back to London and stayed within the Bright Horizons family.
I really enjoy working with the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) and love the way children learn through child initiated and play-based learning.I find it very rewarding watching children learn about their own interests and develop through play, ensuring they are inspired and encouraged to achieve their best potential.
The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
