At Richmond Queen's Road Day Nursery, not only do we recognise the value of giving children an abundance of fun, education and care, but also how important it is to keep the safety of your child at the forefront of what we do.
We're rated 'Good' by OFSTED, and as you walk into the nursery, you will be greeted by a friendly management team who can always help with any questions or concerns you may have. The light and airy hallway lead into four stunning rooms which will cater for all of your child’s needs. We pride ourselves on individualised planning for each child; recognising that every child is unique but remembering equality for all. An experienced staff team will plan weekly activities for your child, which you can see on each room’s parent board. We also encourage parents to participate in observations too, allowing us to have a broader view on each child's interests and development.
Each room at our day nursery in Richmond has direct access onto our outdoor space. The area is split into two with a separate area for our younger children. The environment allows every child the ability to take risks in a safe manner, whilst also allowing them to learn about the wider world. As part of our childcare provision in Richmond, we also provide breakfast club and after-school care for children in Reception class, Year 1 and Year 2 attending Marshgate Primary School only, to ensure that children receive complete wrap-around care. We are within several school catchment areas of several primary schools including Marshgate Primary School, Holy Trinity CofE School, St Elizabeth’s Catholic School, Darell Primary School and The Vineyard Primary.
We will be delighted to welcome you to Richmond Queen's Road Day Nursery. Our friendly, experienced and highly qualified staff are on hand to conduct a personal nursery tour at a time to suit you.
Where possible we look to offer flexible booking patterns and a range of funding options, including the government's 30 hours funded childcare* provision. To request pricing and availability, please request a call back by clicking the button below.

I have been working at Richmond day nursery for the last 10 years. I started as a nursery assistant, I then started my childcare qualification and became pre-school room leader. I have since worked my way up and I am now an assistant manager at Richmond. I have a good knowledge of the EYFS and my passion is making sure the children are receiving outstanding care and education.
The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
