Welcome to Richmond Queen’s Road Day Nursery and Preschool, set within the grounds of Marshgate Primary School. Our experienced team and inspiring setting are dedicated to giving children aged 3 months to 5 years the care and early education they need to give them the best start.

Excellent Rooms to Help Your Child Thrive

We have four lovely and airy rooms, each designed to support the needs and development of our range of age groups.

The rooms consist of low-level furniture, with everything in easy reach for curious little minds. We have indoor climbing equipment to support motor skills and role play and construction areas to encourage independence and creativity and so much more.

We also have a separate sleep room where our younger children can enjoy peaceful naps.

Children also enjoy Boogie Mites music sessions where they can learn about the world through music and song.

A Bright Beginning for Every Child

Your little one will get the best start to their schooling life through our enriching and wellbeing-focused Bright Beginnings Curriculum, designed by our own Early Years specialists.

Building on the foundations of the government’s EYFS curriculum, Bright Beginnings combines a wide range of activities to nurture and develop the skills your child needs to flourish and reach their full potential. This holistic yet personal approach supports each child’s wellbeing, development, and progress – whether that’s moving rooms or preparing them for school.

Getting Ready for Their Next Steps

To ensure your little learner is confident to start school, our older children take part in our Ready for School programme, which brings structure and focus to maths, reading, writing, and other essential skills they need to get ready for school.

Wrap-Around Care

To help make your days a little easier, we’re proud to offer both breakfast and after-school club for children attending Marshgate Primary School in reception and year one, ensuring that children receive complete wrap-around care.

Fun in the Garden

Each of our rooms has direct freeflow access to our beautiful outdoor space. The area is split into two sections with a separate area for our younger children. This allows each age group to enjoy age-tailored resources and activities at their own pace.

The landscaped garden is full of fun to explore. From teepees and play trays to trikes and climbing frames, there is always something new to discover. We also have a planting area where your little one will learn about how things grow and take care of their own plants.

All-Inclusive Care and Convenience

• Nutritionally-balanced meals are prepared daily along with a range of tasty and healthy snacks. Menus are provided by The Professional Nursery Kitchen.
• Our all-inclusive care extends to formula, nappies, wipes, and nappy cream.
• Onsite buggy park.
• Our nursery in Richmond is located close to North Sheen and Richmond train stations.
• We are within several school catchment areas for primary schools including Marshgate Primary School, Holy Trinity CofE School, St Elizabeth’s Catholic School, Darell Primary School, and The Vineyard Primary.
• Enjoy longer opening hours of 7:30am to 6:30pm.
