Welcome to Long Road Nursery and Preschool. Our bright and welcoming nursery is set on the grounds of Addenbrookes Hospital, making it a convenient location for local families and hospital staff. Our qualified and nurturing practitioners are dedicated to providing children aged 3 months to 5 years the best early education and care.

At our Cambridge nursery, we have five beautiful and inspiring rooms each specifically designed for the age and stage of the children who use it.

Every room is filled with exciting and stimulating resources to aid your child’s development and help them reach their individual milestones.

Attached to four of the rooms is free flow access to our wonderful outdoor space, which has age-specific gardens and play areas to fill your child’s day with fun and unique learning opportunities.

Children also enjoy Boogie Mites music sessions where they can learn about the world through music and song.

Getting Ready for Their Next Steps

To ensure your little learner is confident to start school, preschoolers take part in our Ready for School programme, which brings structure and focus to maths, reading, writing and other essential skills they need to get ready for school.

All-Inclusive Care and Convenience

• Nutritionally balanced meals are prepared by our onsite chef. Our all-inclusive care extends to nappies, snacks, wipes, formula, and sun cream.
