Eddington Nursery

Welcome to Eddington Day Nursery and Preschool, where we offer high-quality care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years. While our nursery in Cambridge largely cares for the children of students and staff attending the University of Cambridge, we also welcome all families in the area.

Your child will love our four bright and colourful rooms, which have been decorated and tailored to support and inspire each of our age groups.

The spacious classrooms are filled with beautiful wooden resources, including toys, indoor climbing equipment, furniture and role-play activities. We also have a cosy sleeping room for our younger children, so they can enjoy peaceful naps in a calm environment.

A Bright Beginning for Every Child

Your little one will get the best start to their schooling life through our enriching and wellbeing-focused Bright Beginnings Curriculum, designed by our own Early Years specialists.

Building on the foundations of the governments EYFS curriculum, Bright Beginnings combines a wide range of activities to nurture and develop the skills your child needs to flourish and reach their full potential. This holistic yet personal approach supports each childs wellbeing, development, and progress – whether thats moving rooms or preparing them for school.

Getting Ready for Their Next Steps

To ensure your little learner is confident to start school, our older children take part in our Ready for School programme, which brings structure and focus to maths, reading, writing, and other essential skills they need to get ready for school.

Adventures in the Garden

Our garden courtyard offers a wealth of fun and exciting learning opportunities in the fresh air. With plenty of covered areas, our outdoor space can be enjoyed whatever the weather.

Each room benefits from freeflow access to the garden, allowing your child to enjoy the fresh air and range of resources whenever they want. As well as a variety of tailored toys and activities, we also have a lovely nature trail, which is perfect for exploring the magic of nature and going on a mini beast hunt.

All-Inclusive Care and Convenience

• Nutritionally-balanced meals are prepared and delivered daily, and our all-inclusive care extends to nappies, wipes, formula, and creams.
