Ely Day Nursery and Preschool

Welcome to Ely Day Nursery and Preschool, situated within the grounds of Cambridgeshire Business Park and conveniently located 5-minutes from Ely train station. Our modern, purpose-built nursery is the perfect setting for children aged 3 months to 5 years to learn, flourish, have fun and make friends.

To give all our children the best start to their learning journey our Bright Beginnings curriculum combines a wide range of activities to support and nurture. Where each child's wellbeing, development, and progress, whether that involves transitioning between rooms, preparing for school, or developing life skills.

Our baby room is our fun and cosy, designed with your baby’s comfort and development in mind. There is lots to explore in this room, from sensory toys to arts and crafts, as well as a separate milk kitchen and nappy changing area. We have a designated baby garden outside so our babies can explore their outdoor surroundings in their own space.

Our Toddler Room is a hive of activities where children can explore various areas of the room including a large cosy book area complete with their very own sofa, the art area where the children can make wonderful creations or the play dough station where they can add their own colours and scents to investigate further.

The Early Pre-School Room (2–3-year-old children) love their large room, which has different areas to spark their imagination, including a large construction and small work area as well as a fun art area. Our Early Pre-School Room benefits from freeflow access to the garden, allowing the children to choose whether to play inside or out. We also have pet giant goldfish which the children love taking care of.

Our Preschoolers room provides fun and exciting structured activities, as well as encouraging children to ask questions, independently explore and develop skills ready for school and beyond. Our Pre-School Room enjoy learning about the world around them, watching the deer from their window in the adjacent field and learning and caring about the Giant African Land Snails which live in their room.

We are fortunate to have a large garden which all the children share. Each room plans age-appropriate activities to enjoy in the garden, so your child will always have the best experiences to aid their development. We also provide waterproof all-in-ones and overalls for the children to wear outside, so they can play no matter the weather. With trikes and wooden huts, sports equipment and a large accessible mud kitchen which all ages explore and enjoy, there is always so much to discover.

While your child is busy exploring and having fun, we can keep you updated via our Family app. Available for all Bright Horizons parents, this will keep you connected with your child's day-to-day experiences and up to date as they develop during their time with us.
