Welcome to Haslemere Day Nursery and Preschool. Our Ofsted Good-rated nursery is set in a beautiful Victorian building and is the perfect setting for little ones aged 3 months to 5 years to flourish.

Dedicated Rooms for Every Age Group

Our baby and toddler room is for children under 2 and is a fun and stimulating environment for making new discoveries. Here, we focus on the first steps of independence and work to develop key milestones through learning and play.

In our bright and spacious nursery room, children aged 2 to 3 enjoy freeflow access to their own dedicated garden space. In this room, we introduce more role-play and small world play, which stimulates the children's imaginations and encourages independence.

In preschool, we focus on school preparation. Attached to our preschool is our wonderful school readiness room, where we promote our learning enhancements to give your child the skills they need to feel confident going to school.

Children also enjoy Boogie Mites music sessions where they can learn about the world through music and song.

A Bright Beginning for Every Child

Your little one will get the best start to their schooling life through our enriching and wellbeing-focused Bright Beginnings Curriculum, designed by our own Early Years specialists.

Building on the foundations of the government's EYFS curriculum, Bright Beginnings combines a wide range of activities to nurture and develop the skills your child needs to flourish and reach their full potential. This holistic yet personal approach supports each child's wellbeing, development, and progress – whether that's moving rooms or preparing them for school.

Getting Ready for Their Next Steps

To ensure your little learner is confident to start school, our older children take part in our Ready for School programme, which brings structure and focus to maths, reading, writing, and other essential skills they need to get ready for school.

Specialist Rooms and Resources

As well as our spacious classrooms, we also have a children's kitchen for our preschool children and a heuristic playroom for your little one to enjoy. In the playroom, our younger children interact with everyday objects to provide a wide range of sensory stimulation, helping them discover and learn things for themselves.

To extend your child's learning at home, we offer home learning bags and a lending library.

Exciting Garden Areas

Your child will love having freeflow access to our large garden space. This all-weather area features so much to explore, from an exciting adventure playground and trike track to a planting area and sandpit. We also have a lovely, dedicated baby garden.

• Nutritionally-balanced meals are prepared by our onsite chef. Our all-inclusive care extends to formula, nappies, wipes, and creams.
