Guildford Day Nursery and Preschool

Bright Horizons Guildford Day Nursery and Preschool is a newly refurbished setting located within the grounds of the University of Surrey, offering high‑quality childcare for children aged 3 months to 5 years. We provide a warm, nurturing environment where little ones can learn, grow and flourish through exciting experiences and a personalised early years curriculum.

The nursery features four thoughtfully designed rooms tailored to each age group, with engaging activities, interactive learning and opportunities for imaginative play. Children also enjoy Boogie Mites sessions, exploring rhythm, song and movement as part of their daily learning.

We pride ourselves on our strong community feel, hosting events throughout the year such as summer picnics, festive celebrations and stay‑and‑play sessions that bring families and practitioners together. Our Nurture Approach, built on the EYFS framework, supports children’s emotional wellbeing and holistic development, while our Ready for School programme helps older children grow in confidence as they prepare for their next steps.

Outdoors, children have access to a large, landscaped garden with age‑specific areas and all‑weather spaces that encourage exploration and discovery. Indoors, they benefit from a calm, caring environment with nutritious meals prepared by our on‑site chef. Families also enjoy convenient on‑site parking and a buggy park. The nursery is within easy reach of London Road (Guildford) train station and proudly holds a Good Ofsted rating.
