Meet the Team

Tracy Wrigley

I have been with Bright Horizons since 2010 although I have been working in childcare since 1987. I have an NNEB certificate in Nursery Nursing, Supervisory Management, First Aid, Basic Food and Health & Safety certificates to mention a few. In my role as a manager I support the staff teams with planning, paperwork, observation, and support with the daily routines. I assist with the day to day management of the nursery.
I have 2 children myself and enjoy supporting an under 15’s boys football team.

Gemma Milburn

I live locally in West Didsbury, but I have been brought up in Bramhall, Stockport area. When I am not working I enjoy going to the gym, spending time with my friends and travelling. I am currently working towards my management course and I have been working in childcare since I was 16 years old.
I have an NVQ level 3 in childcare studies and first aid. I also have Level 1 and 2 in British Sign Language which I studied when I was at college.

Candy Floss

Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.

Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!
