I have been with the company for ten years and have progressed and trained within this time. I have a Level 4 qualification in Childcare and Education I am also first aid trained and Epipen trained. I started within the company as a nursery nurse progressing to room leader to Deputy Manager and then Nursery Manager.
I am passionate about children’s learning and development and also providing an environment that supports all of our families with their busy day to day lives. We create a home from home feeling where everyone’s feelings and opinions are valued and respected.
I started my journey with Bright Horizons 6 years ago starting as a nursery nurse in the baby unit after I had gained my L3 qualification. During my time with the babies I found that I had a passion for leading and was soon able to move over to the toddler rooms in the capacity of room leader. I have gained lots of experience looking after different children and families over the years and have a passion for helping children learn and grow as individuals, I particularly enjoy my role as SEND co coordinator, working with families and children to provide exceptional care for these children and seeing the progress they make.
I have more recently stepped into the deputy manager’s role and am thoroughly enjoying the challenges of running the nursery alongside the manager. I am dedicated in leading the nursery team in providing outstanding childcare and education for all our children and families.
The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
