Welcome to Clairmont Day Nursery and Preschool where our welcoming setting and nurturing staff have been rated Outstanding by Ofsted. Your child will love spending their days in our bright and spacious nursery, which caters to the development and education of children aged 3 months to 5 years.
Excellent Resources for All Age Groups
Your child will enjoy their days in one of our six well-equipped rooms, each one specifically designed for the enrichment and learning needs of the age group.
Our dedicated baby nursery is a safe, stimulating environment where babies can explore and reach their developmental milestones.
Preschoolers have fun learning and making new discoveries with their own Early Years teacher. This specialised teaching, alongside our Ready for School programme, helps prepare your child for their next steps, giving them the skills and confidence they need for school.
We also offer holiday clubs and additional language classes.
A Bright Beginning for Every Child
Designed by our Early Years specialists, your little one will get the best start to their schooling life through our enriching and wellbeing-focused Bright Beginnings Curriculum.
Building on the foundations of the government's EYFS curriculum, it combines a wide range of activities to nurture and develop the skills your child needs to flourish and reach their full potential. This holistic yet personal approach supports each child's wellbeing, development, and progress - whether that's moving rooms or preparing them for school.
Children also enjoy Boogie Mites music sessions where they can learn about the world through music and song.
You can stay updated with your child's day through our Bright Horizons Family app.
Outdoor Fun and Discovery
Your little one will love spending time in our outdoor spaces, including a Forest School area and two large, age-specific garden areas with smaller explorative nooks. Little explorers will make exciting discoveries as they enjoy outdoor sessions with our Forest School-trained practitioner.

- Nutritionally balanced meals are prepared by our onsite chef. Our all-inclusive care extends to formula, nappies, and creams so there's less to pack on those busy mornings.

I have been with the company for ten years and have progressed and trained within this time. I have a Level 4 qualification in Childcare and Education I am also first aid trained and Epipen trained. I started within the company as a nursery nurse progressing to room leader to Deputy Manager and then Nursery Manager.
I am passionate about children's learning and development and also providing an environment that supports all of our families with their busy day to day lives. We create a home from home feeling where everyone's feelings and opinions are valued and respected.
I started my journey with Bright Horizons 6 years ago starting as a nursery nurse in the baby unit after I had gained my L3 qualification. During my time with the babies I found that I had a passion for leading and was soon able to move over to the toddler rooms in the capacity of room leader. I have gained lots of experience looking after different children and families over the years and have a passion for helping children learn and grow as individuals, I particularly enjoy my role as SEND co coordinator, working with families and children to provide exceptional care for these children and seeing the progress they make.
I have more recently stepped into the Deputy Manager's role and am thoroughly enjoying the challenges of running the nursery alongside the manager. I am dedicated in leading the nursery team in providing outstanding childcare and education for all our children and families.
The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
