Astley Day Nursery and Preschool

Welcome to Bright Horizons Astley, where we provide a welcoming and nurturing environment for children aged 3 months to 5 years. Located at the junction of Higher Green Lane, Astley, and East Lancashire Road. Making it perfect for parents working in Liverpool, Wigan, Manchester, and St Helens. Additionally, we’re conveniently located near Atherton and Walkden train stations, as well as several bus routes. Our nursery has an onsite car park and buggy park for added convenience.

Providing the best start, our bright baby room, allows the under 2 explore at their own pace, following their interests and curiosities. Your baby will feel comforted and content as we follow their own individual routine around sleep, nappy changing and feeding.

Toddlers enjoy their own large room, which has lots of different and exciting areas to explore. To give your child the best experience, we encourage independence and plan your child's day following their interests.

Our preschoolers truly flourish as they start learning the key skills they need for school and beyond. Taught in their own room by experienced, qualified preschool teacher, they will feel ready and confident when it comes time to take their next steps.

With beautiful, landscaped gardens, our garden is separated into age-specific areas, giving your child the best resources for their development. We have a road track, which the preschool children use to practice their bike and trike-riding skills. To encourage those green fingers, your mini gardener will have regular access to our lovely allotment, where they'll learn all about growing food.

To ensure a smooth transition into the nursery, a member of the nursery management team will contact you 8 weeks prior to your child’s start date to confirm that all the information we hold is accurate and up to date. At this point we will also arrange your child’s first settling in session.

While your child is busy exploring and having fun, we can keep you updated via our Family app. Available for all Bright Horizons parents, this will keep you connected with your child's day-to-day experiences and up to date as they develop during their time with us.
