A BRIGHT AND SPACIOUS NURSERY IN BEAUFORT PARK

Our contemporary nursery in Beaufort Park, Colindale is designed to support your child’s development from 3 months to 5 years.

Our unique Healthy Hearts and Minds activities provide inspirational and engaging learning experiences using the innovative Boogie Mites and myHappymind programmes.

The facilities to play and learn extend beyond our roomy indoor spaces, as we also have a large outdoor garden where your child can cycle, climb or role-play in one of our two age specific gardens.

We work hard to build a strong sense of family and community at our nursery. To achieve this, we host regular events such as summer fairs, Diwali gatherings and Christmas celebrations. This gives you and your child the opportunity to chat with other staff, parents and children, all the while creating fond memories for years to come.

Our nursery is conveniently located under half a mile from Colindale Underground Station and under a mile from Colindale town centre. To make your mornings and evenings a little easier, we also have a buggy storage area and provide all-inclusive care. This includes nappies, wipes, baby formula and fresh meals prepared by our dedicated on-site chef.

We are rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, and our efforts to create the ideal nursery for our community has been recognised by local parents, who have given us a daynurseries score of 9.1/10 (as of January 2020).

Our staff would love to meet you and your child, so book a visit today and we will show you all our nursery has to offer during your own personal tour.

Meet the Team

Beaufort Park Day Nursery and Preschool Manager

Julienne Salumu

I have spent the last 10 years as both a Deputy Manager and Nursery Manager in a variety of nurseries, which have undergone intensive changes and have made remarkable improvements. The skills and experiences I have acquired working in outstanding and challenging nurseries have provided my most valuable and rewarding teaching experiences.

It is my aim, to build on the secure foundations and current achievements ensuring that our nursery is forward thinking and ambitious within a supportive and safe environment. I fully appreciate how important each year of a child’s nursery life is towards preparing them for school and life. I am passionate about teaching and have high expectations, not only for myself but for all members of our staff. I hope you will support our high expectations in all areas, especially in attendance and behaviour which naturally impacts greatly on achievement.

I will strive to ensure that our nursery supports children to be whole rounded individuals.  I strongly believe that our nursery is the opportunity for children to discover and unlock hidden talents in a fun and nurturing environment.  Every child has the ability to do amazing things if a nursery provides the right opportunities.

Candy Floss

Candy Floss

Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.

Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!

Why Bright Horizons

The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
