A caring and spacious setting to support your child

Your little one will love spending their days in our bright and spacious nursery in Hendon. The experienced and nurturing staff at our Ofsted rated 'Good' nursery support the development of children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Giving Your Child the Best Start

Each of our specially designed rooms features age-appropriate facilities, resources, and toys to support your little one as they grow. Your child will be encouraged to follow their own interests at their own pace throughout their journey with us, as they make new discoveries and learn essential key skills along the way.

A Bright Beginning for Every Child

Designed by our Early Years specialists, your little one will get the very best start through our enriching and wellbeing-focused Bright Beginnings Curriculum.

Building on the foundations of the government's EYFS curriculum, it combines a wide range of activities to nurture and develop the skills your child needs to flourish and reach their full potential. This holistic yet personal approach supports each child's development and progress - whether that's moving rooms or preparing them for school.

You can follow your child's nursery day via the Bright Horizons Family app.

To instill strong family and community values, our Hendon nursery regularly hosts fun family events, such as summer fairs, Diwali gatherings and Christmas celebrations. These lovely events give both you and your little one a unique opportunity to chat with our staff, and other parents and children, creating wonderful memories you can cherish.

Outdoor Fun and Fresh Meals

Your little explorer will love spending time in our large garden, which features two separate areas for different age groups. From cycling and role-playing, to climbing frames and obstacle courses, there's something for every little one in our exciting garden.

In between play and learning, our onsite chef is ready to serve a wide variety of freshly-prepared, delicious meals and snacks.

Essentials Included

To help with those hectic mornings, our nursery includes all meals, snacks, wipes, and nappies.

Great Location for Commuting Parents

We have a great location less than half a mile from Colindale tube station and just under a mile from Colindale town centre. We're also close to Beaufort Park and the famous RAF Museum.

Meet the Team

Becca Milsome Beaufort Nursery Manager

Rebecca Milsome

I have been working in Early Years for over 15 years and I began my journey at Bright Horizons in 2009 and have been part of the Bright Horizons family for the last 12 years and have had the opportunity to progress in my education and career from a nursery practitioner working my way up the ladder.

My passion lies within providing the best possible outcomes for the future of our next generation and I love helping to develop children through their journey with us and supporting them onto their next steps and preparing them for their bright futures. I have a wide range of experience working with all the age groups from Babies to Toddlers (3-24 months) and then progressing in 2-3’s (24-36 months) and Pre-School (36-50 months).

I have supported Bright Horizons nurseries over my experience and have had the opportunity to support my teams to create a fun, stimulating, safe environment. My main focus in childcare is ultimately to provide a home from home setting where children can be themselves whilst exploring and developing in a safe environment. I am very proactive and you will see me in the rooms working closely with all the children. I enjoy spending time with the parents getting to know your family individually.

The reason I do this job is to ensure every child feels safe and cared for in my setting and every child gets that special attention they deserve each and every day. I am very passionate about early years and giving children the best start in life.

Deputy Manager Beaufort Park - Abbie Wood

Abbie Wood

I completed my level 3 in child care 9 years ago and have loved this job since then. Supporting babies in their development, seeing them grow and blossom into unique little individuals is really rewarding. In particular I admire their endless energy, honesty and creativity - it keeps me on my toes and wanting to continue to develop my knowledge to be the best I can for the children, their families and the team at Beaufort Park.

Candy Floss

Candy Floss

Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.

Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!

Why Bright Horizons

The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
