Welcome to Whetstone Day Nursery and Preschool. Located in the heart of Whetstone, we are an Ofsted Outstanding nursery dedicated to providing exceptional care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Outstanding Rooms to Aid Development

In our bright and colourful Cherubs room, we help your baby to be comfortable and curious within a calm and nurturing environment.

Neverland is our nursery room. It's light and open plan, allowing your child to move around the room and explore the low-level resources and activities at their own pace.

2 to 3-year-olds love their Munchkin room, where the children are introduced to areas of learning such as literacy, maths, and art. In Munchkins, the children are encouraged to explore their independence including toilet training and self-serving at mealtimes.

In our preschool room, your little one will have access to a wide range of stimulating activities to prepare them for their next step. To ensure your little learner is confident to start school, our older children take part in our Ready for School programme, which brings structure and focus to maths, reading, writing and other essential skills they need for their next big learning adventure.

A Bright Beginning for Every Child

Your little one will get the best start to their schooling life through our enriching and wellbeing-focused Bright Beginnings Curriculum, designed by our own Early Years specialists.

Building on the foundations of the government's EYFS curriculum, Bright Beginnings combines a wide range of activities to nurture and develop the skills your child needs to flourish and reach their full potential. This holistic yet personal approach supports each child's wellbeing, development, and progress – whether that's moving rooms or preparing them for school.

Children also enjoy Boogie Mites music sessions where they can learn about the world through music and song.
