Right in the heart of Finchley Central just minutes walk from the tube, we aim to offer every child a rich and stimulating nursery experience while working in close partnership with parents.
We include a diverse range of inclusive classes and trips which you and your child can attend regardless of whether they take place on days when your child attends or not. We also use an industry leading online learning journey called Tapestry with which we can work even more closely with you to nurture your child's development and confidence at all levels.
Before starting with us, there will be an opportunity for your child to make two pre-start visits and to discuss his/her individual needs. We operate an inclusive approach whereby all families and children are welcome.
Where possible we look to offer flexible booking patterns and a range of funding options, including the government's 30 hours funded childcare* provision. To request pricing and availability, please request a call back by clicking the button below.
*Terms and conditions apply to 30 hours funding. Click here for more information.
Request a call backI have been working in childcare for over 10 years starting as a nursery assistant. I have a NVQ level 3 in childcare and education and I am currently studying the early years teaching status qualification. Before I had begun working as a childcare practitioner I completed my Master’s degree in environmental management.
I have two children of my own and after the birth of my first child I developed a passion for nurturing and caring for children. I believe the most powerful tool any child can develop would be education and I am proud that I can play my part in the next generation.
In my spare time I like to read inspirational book, listen to gospel music and travel.
I am Third in charge for our Finchley Central nursery as well as being 2-3s senior room leader. I have been working for Bright Horizons since 2019 and have had childcare experience for over 10 years. I hold my diploma in childcare level 3 qualification and I am the nursery’s SENCO. I am excitedly starting my Inspiring Leaders level 3 too!
I adore children of all ages and have been lucky enough to support all age groups from 0-5. I work closely with my team to build on the children’s learning and development and adore observing amazing learning outcomes that the children achieve. I support the management team and work aside them to build on our nursery vision and I really like being a role model for my team. I am passionate about the children’s learning and development and provide continuous high standard provision by observing, planning and reviewing the impact it is on the children to push them further so they can grow and achieve their next steps. My strengths are being a positive role model, enthusiastic and passionate practitioner and a strong team player.
Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.
Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!
The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
