A place to grow

Opened in December 2015 in the heart of Muswell Hill we offer every child a rich and stimulating nursery experience while working in close partnership with parents. With state of the art resources and a spacious, bright open plan environment, a diverse range of inclusive classes and trips are included which you and your child can attend regardless of whether they take place on days when your child attends or not. We also use an industry leading online learning journey called Tapestry with which we can work even more closely with you to nurture your child's development and confidence at all levels.

Before starting with us, there will be an opportunity for your child to settle thoroughly and to discuss his/her individual needs. We operate an inclusive approach whereby all families and children are welcome.

Once you have gone on our waiting list we offer a fantastic opportunity for you to get to know the staff and for your child to interact with them and the other children. Simply ask a member of management to book you a Stay & Play session and you can bring your child into the nursery and stay with them for an hour in the room they would be joining. You can enjoy as many of these sessions as you wish leading unto your start date, and they are completely free.

An enriching Ready for School programme gives every child the opportunity to gain knowledge and confidence to thrive in school and beyond.

Candy Floss

Candy Floss

Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.

Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!
