Our Chantry Hall nursery in Muswell Hill has been carefully designed with each age group in mind, to inspire and enhance your child’s learning and development from the age of 3 months to 5 years.
Chantry Hall Day Nursery and Preschool is split across different floors, with dedicated rooms where children can enjoy age-appropriate facilities and resources and have plenty of space to play, explore and learn. Your child will also have access to our fantastic adventure garden, which is divided into three different areas.
The main garden is where we engage the children to focus on their physical development, providing bikes, a climbing frame, beanbags, balls, hoops and more. The middle level is where we enjoy circle times, singing songs and reading books, and our messy play area is at the bottom of the garden. Here your child can explore and get messy with our mud kitchen, practise some gardening or enjoy playing with the big blocks.
Together with the children we enjoy exploring technology, talking about ICT apparatus, supporting knowledge and understanding whilst ensuring they learn how to use technology safely. In addition, we practice a Growing Enhancement programme unique to Bright Horizons, furthering your child’s inspiration and confidence to navigate subjects such as mathematics, art, reading and writing well ahead of their journey into school.
Chantry Hall nursery is conveniently located close to Rhodes Avenue Primary School and Coldfall Primary School, and is within a 10-minute drive of Bounds Green Underground, Bowes Park and Alexandra Palace train stations.
We are dedicated to continuing to provide fantastic care to local families like yours and have been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted in their latest inspection.

Request a call backI have worked in a primary school as a reception teacher. I am Level 6 NSPCC trained, designated safeguarding lead.
Starting as a nursery nurse and developing my career over the years achieving BA Hons in Early Years Education during 2012.
I speak six different languages which is beneficial with the multilingual children and families at the nursery.
I love to see how the children grow and develop while they are with us and making a positive change to modern day family life.
Hi, my name is Amber and I joined the Chantry Hall team earlier this year! I have been in childcare for 6 years and started off as an apprentice doing my Level 2. I then worked my way through my Level 3 and became a Room Leader. I then progressed into the Third in Charge position and am now the Deputy Manager at Chantry Hall. My passion is having that holistic approach when working with children and their families – seeing the whole picture! I love to see a child’s journeys with us, whether they start in Baby room or in Preschool. Seeing them become independent and the sense of pride they get from this is so special.
Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.
Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!
The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
