You and your child will love our Outstanding New Southgate Day Nursery and Preschool, designed to support your child’s development from the age of 3 months to 5 years. The combination of our nurturing, committed staff and exciting learning activities helps your little one to reach their full potential.
Our nursery’s spacious rooms are light and airy, with toddlers and preschool children enjoying freeflow access to the garden. Each room features age-specific resources to pique your child’s natural curiosity, such as loose parts play, home role-play corner, reading nook, art station and more. We focus on children’s wellbeing and confidence, promoting individuality. We use the children’s interests as a basis for planning new activities, with children enjoying music and movement sessions, singing, cooking, dancing and PE. Babies enjoy activities that help develop their muscles and motor skills, and sensory toys that allow them to discover new textures, sights and sounds.
To extend your child’s play and learning beyond our enriching indoor facilities, our nursery in New Southgate has a stunning outdoor space. Whether your child is feeling adventurous with their friends, or just needs some solo play time, they can do it all with the use of our garden’s soft play slopes, tricycles, building blocks, seesaw and reading nook. There’s even a sensory garden, full of new sights, textures, scents and nature discoveries.
New Southgate nursery is conveniently located only 10-minutes’ walk from New Southgate train station, with good links to local bus routes and space outside the nursery for drop-offs. Our all-inclusive fees include all meals, snacks, nappies and wipes, giving you more time and less to pack in the mornings.

I completed my BA Honours Degree in Early Childhood studies in 2013 and started working for Bright Horizons in the same year. My roles have included Nursery Nurse, Room Leader and Deputy Manager and have gained experience in all areas.
My passion is being able to be part of the children’s growth offering them endless learning experiences to fulfil their potential. To see them come into the nursery, happy, confident and growing as individuals. Creating strong Parent Partnerships is important to me. I understand it can be worrying when settling a child in for the first time, however when they are settled it is rewarding to be part of this. As a manager I strive for every child to leave nursery being happy, confident and ready for school.
I started my career with Bright horizons five years ago.
I enrolled as an apprentice gaining my level 3 in childcare, I was then able to gain experience in my roles such as, Nursery Nurse, Room Leader to then becoming deputy. I have experience in the ages of 3months up until 5. Working in childcare is a rewarding job, its lovely to see the children develop such as taking their first steps, saying their first words, being able to ride a tricycle etc.
I am very passionate about my job, and I love to see the children grow and develop.
I also enjoy working part of a team and supporting my colleagues.
The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
