Meet the Team

Neetha Madrira Teddington Nursery Manager

Neetha Madrira

I am extremely proud to be a part of the Bright Horizon family and to be delivering an inspiring, stimulating and caring environment for the children and parents at the Teddington Day Nursery.

I connect with children and feel a great sense of accomplishment in helping children achieve and enjoy their time at the nursery. Working with children gives me much joy and happiness. Their excitement about life and everything is just contagious!"

I’m a firm believer that the children are given the opportunity to learn from their surrounding and nature, which is so important to help spark their creativity and imagination. Interacting and working with children comes naturally to me.

Having worked my way up from a Nursery Assistant to becoming a manager has given me the experience to be able to connect with my staff team and work together with parents, staff and the children in my care.

In the last 20 years of being in childcare, I have been lucky to have worked in 5 different settings and still maintain the same level of spark and vigor that helps to motivate myself and a team, in order to provide best-in-class and quality childcare. I pride myself in being able to create an environment that builds a home away from home feeling, for the children under my care. Being a parent to two wonderful children myself, I also find it easy to share the joys and concerns of other parents.

Candy Floss

Candy Floss

Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.

Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!

Why Bright Horizons

The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
