Welcome to Elm Grove Day Nursery and Preschool. We focus on providing children aged 3 months to 5 years with the very best care and education, understanding that these early years are crucial for building a strong foundation for lifelong learning and growth. Our team takes great joy in helping children grow into independent and confident individuals, while also delivering outstanding service to families.

In our nursery we have five age specific rooms all tailored to suit the needs of the age group. Our babies love their bright and cosy room. Here we have a sleep area, milk kitchen, changing area, dedicated garden, a separate area for non-mobile babies and lots of exciting sensory resources and toys.

Your toddler can have fun exploring our bright and spacious toddler rooms, where activities are planned around the children's individual interests, helping them reach their milestones.

The Preschool Room for 32 months to 5 years provides fun and exciting structured activities as well as encouraging children to ask questions, independently explore and develop skills ready for school and beyond.

Your little one deserves the best start in life, and our Nurture Approach delivers just that. Designed by Early Years specialists, it focuses on wellbeing and holistic development to help every child thrive.

Building on the foundations of the government’s EYFS framework, The Nurture Approach combines creative, engaging activities that develop essential skills and confidence. This personalised approach supports each child’s progress—whether they’re moving rooms or preparing for school.

Preparing for School with Confidence

Our Ready for School programme helps older children build strong foundations in reading, writing, maths, and other key skills—ensuring they feel confident and excited for their next big step.

Your child will be supported to discover their interests in our specialist rooms. These include a children's kitchen where your child will learn about healthy food choices and a multipurpose art room. Within these rooms your child can also take part in our cooking and art clubs to enrich their nursery experience.

Moving outside our garden and outdoor spaces are exciting places to explore and make new discoveries. Your child can practise their fine motor skills on the bike track and play with their friends throughout all seasons.

Whilst your child is busy exploring and having fun, we can keep you updated via our Family app. Available for all Bright Horizons parents, this will keep you connected with your child's day-to-day experiences and up to date as they develop during their time with us.
