Elm Grove Day Nursery and Preschool is in a great location for travel links into London.
Our nursery is a two-story building with age-appropriate rooms for the children. We have an ICT and Science Studio, which the children can access on a daily basis. Our children enjoy the Cooking and Art Clubs where they can freely explore and experiment with their senses.
We offer extracurricular activities including Teddy Tennis, Baby Yoga, Rugby and Jo Jingles.
We have two gardens where the children can extend their play and learning experiences.
Children are well prepared to transition to school with the unique Ready for School Programme including Growing Readers, Writers, and Mathematicians.

Request a call backI have a degree in Law, an NVQ level 3 and Early Years Professional Status Level 6. I joined Bright Horizons in 2014 but have worked in childcare for 10 years. My interest in Early Years developed after I had my own son 11 years ago. It was then that I truly realised just how important quality experiences are for children from the moment they are born. Since then, my focus has been to lead and support the delivery of stimulating learning experiences where children can learn and develop to their full potential. I look forward to welcoming you to our nursery.
I have been with Bright Horizons since 2009 based at the Banstead setting. I am Level 3 qualified and have worked in all roles at the nursery and with all age groups. I enjoy supporting and watching children grow and develop as well as building relationships with parents and staff. I look forward to welcoming you to our setting.
Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.
Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!
The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
