A Homely And Enriching Nursery In Sandown Park

You and your child will love our Sandown Park Day Nursery and Preschool. Set within the beautiful Sandown Park Racecourse in Esher, we deliver exceptional care and education to children aged 3 months to 5 years. Our experienced and passionate staff strive to make every family feel welcome, and our settling in period helps ensure that each child receives a bespoke programme that meets their individual needs.

Each Sandown Park nursery room has been designed with the children's ages and stages of development in mind to create interesting environments that encourage exploratory and imaginative play. All our rooms benefit from Community Playthings furniture, which is adaptable and can be used to create designated calm play spaces or to allow children to explore all areas independently. We take the children’s interests on board when setting up activities to make sure every child is happy, engaged and supported to reach their full potential.

Our nursery in Sandown Park boasts a large outdoor area with specialised age-appropriate play equipment. A sheltered seating area, balance tyres, sensory garden and a large space for tricycles encourage children to be independent in their choice of play. We even have a Woodland Explorer natural environment area that is designed to inspire child-led discovery and supervised risk-taking.

We are conveniently located just 10-minutes’ walk away from Esher train station, have great links to local bus routes and have our own car park for easy drop-off and pick up. All-inclusive fees help take the stress out of your mornings too, with all meals, snacks, nappies and wipes included. Tom, our onsite nursery chef, provides an excellent menu with nutritionally balanced and healthy meals using fresh ingredients.

Our friendly and highly qualified staff would love to meet you and your child, so book a visit today and we will show you all our nursery has to offer during your own personal tour.

Candy Floss

Candy Floss

Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.

Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!
