Welcome to Hinchley Day Nursery and Preschool. At our Ofsted Good nursery in Esher, we pride ourselves on providing the very best care and education for children from 3 months to 5 years.

Rooms and Facilities to Help Your Child Thrive

Each of our beautiful classrooms are large, airy and open plan, with plenty of space for your little one to explore.

In our baby room, we have a range of stimulating sensory activities and resources to support your baby's development and help them reach their milestones.

Our toddler room is bright and colourful with plenty of creative and role-play areas to spark imagination. In this room, we start to develop the children's communication and language skills.

When your child starts in preschool, activities are planned around their individual interests, and we begin to implement our unique Growing Programmes, taught by our own qualified preschool teacher. The final room is ready for school where your little learner will learn all the skills they need to help them feel ready and confident to start big school. 

A Bright Beginning for Every Child

Your little one will get the best start to their schooling life through our enriching and wellbeing-focused Bright Beginnings Curriculum, designed by our own Early Years specialists.

Building on the foundations of the government's EYFS curriculum, Bright Beginnings combines a wide range of activities to nurture and develop the skills your child needs to flourish and reach their full potential. This holistic yet personal approach supports each child's wellbeing, development, and progress – whether that's moving rooms or preparing them for school.

Getting Ready for Their Next Steps

To ensure your little learner is confident to start school, our older children take part in our Ready for School programme, which brings structure and focus to maths, reading, writing, and other essential skills they need to get ready for school.

Specialist Rooms and Resources

As well as our spacious classrooms, your child will benefit from our specialist rooms, which include a focus room for preschoolers and our bespoke children's kitchen. This exciting kitchen features everything from child-size counters and sinks to a wide range of utensils, perfect for experimenting with recipes and learning about healthy eating.

Garden Discoveries

We're fortunate to have an amazing outdoor space, which all the children use throughout the day. Each of our classrooms has freeflow access to their own individual garden, with so much space for your little explorer to play, learn, and have fun.

The preschool room leads out to a garden with a brilliant mud kitchen and tree house - perfect for imaginative and creative play. We also have a sports garden, a stage, and a pet corner.

All-Inclusive Care and Convenience

• Nutritionally balanced meals are prepared by our onsite chef. Our all-inclusive care extends to snacks, formula, wipes, and sun cream.
