A warm and enriching nursery in Maidstone

With a bright, inspiring and happy environment, your little one will feel excited to join us at Maidstone Boughton Lane Day Nursery and Preschool. Here, their days will be filled with fun, learning, and friends for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Learning and Development for Every Age

In our large baby and toddler rooms, we follow your little one's individual routine, helping make the transition from home to nursery as smooth as possible. Your child will also be able to enjoy our cosy sleep room, the perfect spot for a much-needed nap.

The nursery room is designed to support your child's independence and individual needs, helping them to reach their milestones.

In our preschool room, your child will benefit from our Growing Enhancements programme, which helps them develop key skills in areas including reading, writing, maths, science, and art.

You can stay updated with your child's day through our Bright Horizons Family app.

An Exciting and Inspiring Outdoor Space

Your little adventurer will adore spending their time in our beautiful outdoor areas. As well as an exciting adventure garden, they'll also be able to explore our sweet Hobbit house, pretend fire pit, wobbly road and enriching sensory area.

Each of our three gardens is dedicated to specific age groups and have a natural feel to them, so your child can experience grass, mud, bugs, and even grow their own vegetables and herbs.

All-Inclusive Care and Convenience

  • Nutritionally balanced meals are prepared daily by our onsite chef. Our all-inclusive care extends to snacks, nappies, wipes, and creams.
  • An onsite buggy park and car park makes drop-offs and pick-ups easy and stress-free.

Candy Floss

Candy Floss

Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.

Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!

Why Bright Horizons

The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
