A fun and welcoming environment at Didcot nursery

We look forward to welcoming your little one to our nursery and preschool in Didcot (suitable for children aged 3 months to 5 years old). Your child will be nurtured, educated and entertained by our dedicated team and outdoor play activities including an exciting adventure garden.

About our Nursery

Children love exploring our beautiful purpose-built nursery and preschool. With a warm and inviting atmosphere, we have seven individual rooms within the nursery, each one tailored to the children's age groups, inspiring them to safely explore and follow their own interests.

The nursery also has an individual 'cosy' sleep room, so your little one can enjoy some quiet rest when they feel the need.

When it's time for outdoor fun, your little explorer will enjoy our large, all-weather garden with separate age specific areas. They'll also love discovering our specially designed adventure garden - perfect for inspiring their imaginations.

Bright Beginnings

Designed by our Early Years specialists, your little one will get the best start to their schooling life through our enriching and wellbeing focused Bright Beginnings Curriculum.

Building on the foundations of the government's EYFS curriculum, it combines a wide range of activities to nurture and develop the skills your child needs to flourish and reach their full potential. This holistic yet personal approach supports each child's development and progress - whether that's moving rooms or preparing them for school.

All-Inclusive Convenience

When hungry tummies rumble, your child can tuck into our yummy delicious, freshly prepared meals and snacks made by our onsite chef. To help families manage those busy mornings, all snacks, wipes, nappies, nappy cream, sun cream, and formula are also provided.

Candy Floss

Candy Floss

Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.

Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!

Why Bright Horizons

The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
