Welcome to City Child Nursery and Preschool. At our bright and spacious nursery in Barbican, children aged 3 months to 5 years are provided with the best early years education and care to help them reach their developmental milestones in an inspiring environment.

Dedicated Rooms for Every Age Group

Each of our airy rooms has full-length windows looking out into wildlife areas.

Your tiny one will love our cosy baby room, where we follow your child's individual routine from home as closely as possible, making the transition to nursery life easier. This room also has its own separate sleep room, allowing your child to enjoy peaceful naps.

We have two bright toddler rooms, where your little one is encouraged to explore and start learning independence. There are lots of fun resources to discover as they begin to develop key skills and choose activities that interest them.

In our preschool room, your little learner will start being prepared for school. This room is run by our qualified preschool teacher. To help preschoolers feel truly ready for school, our Ready for School programme adds structure and focus to essential skills, building confidence and independence in a fun, supportive environment.

Children also enjoy Boogie Mites music sessions where they can learn about the world through music and song.

Garden Time in the City

We're very lucky to have a spacious outdoor garden (a real bonus in a city centre). The large garden is divided into age-appropriate areas and is filled with a wide range of exciting resources and toys to extend your child's opportunity to learn and play in the fresh air. From sandpits and climbing frames to trikes and musical instruments, there is always something new to discover.

All-Inclusive Care and Convenience

• Nutritionally-balanced meals are prepared by our onsite chef. Our all-inclusive care extends to snacks, formula, nappies, wipes, and creams.
