I have been working in childcare for just over 20 years, working with children aged 3 months to 7 years old in nurseries and primary schools. I have also worked in a children's centre supporting parents to develop their children's early literacy skills.
I have a real passion for care and education; I have 4 children of my own and I try to bring a family feeling into the nursery. I enjoy encouraging and watching children's progress and development and work closely with the team to deliver great care and education.
I am the setting SENCO and I am passionate about supporting children in all areas of the curriculum to help each individual child to reach their full potential. As a parent myself I understand the importance of parent partnerships and involvement in the children's development and like to offer individual support if and when needed.
I have been working at Raynes Park since January 2018. I started as the third in charge and became deputy in October.
I am a qualified teacher and have worked with children aged 3 months to 10 years in England, Portugal and Angola.
I am passionate about promoting equality, diversity and different cultures to children of all ages. I am responsible for the setting's health and safety and promote the use of our super safety hero Candy floss throughout the nursery.
