We are delighted to have achieved an Outstanding at our latest Ofsted inspection
We offer a warm, welcoming environment supporting the transition from home to nursery, and we provide excellent nutritionally-balanced menus using fresh ingredients prepared by our own chef. We offer a range of extracurricular activities such as Cookery Club, ‘Stretch and Grow’ and French lessons. We have Hyde Park on our doorstep which we visit every day and the local library for regular visits.
We provide all wipes, nappies, formula milk, food and activities fully inclusive of the fees. We are located just 3 minutes’ walk from Lancaster Gate tube station, 10-15 minutes minutes’ walk to Paddington Station as well as major bus routes.

I have been with Bright Horizons since 2003 and have over 20 years' experience in childcare. I enjoy being with the children and creating a stimulating environment for them to develop and learn from. I maintain good relationships with the parents and within the nursery our we are always open to spending time with them should they need us. I am a Safeguarding Officer in the nursery and I lead the staff team by example. I am a mother of three grown up boys and have one grandchild aged 2 years old.
Over the years I have supported our Bright Horizons Foundation with lots of fundraising activities, as well as many other charities. I have also run the London marathon twice and a few others over the years.
I moved to Hyde park nursery in May 2018 and in the November we had our Ofsted inspection, in which we received an Outstanding! Having only being in the nursery for 6 months at that time I would say this is my proudest moment and I was so happy for the staff team I work with as they all have worked very hard.
The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
