Chelmsford Day Nursery and Preschool is a beautiful purpose built setting for children aged 3 months to 5 years. The nursery is conveniently located on the new Beaulieu Park development in the north of Chelmsford, just 2 miles from the town centre.
There are five individual rooms, each tailored to the children’s different age groups as well as a naturally inspiring outdoor play area where your child can explore and flourish. We also have a dedicated outdoor classroom for our 3 – 5 year olds providing exciting outdoor learning opportunities.
Bright Horizons offer unique growing programmes including Growing readers, writers, mathematician’s and scientists. We also have a focus on ICT for our older children including an interactive touch table and ‘bluebots’ which introduce early programming skills to prepare your child for the next step in their education.
Our safe and secure nursery mirrors your routine at home, with settling in sessions tailored to you.
The nursery also provides nutritionally balanced meals, prepared fresh each day by our onsite chef. Our fees are fully inclusive, we provide all nappies, wipes, creams, formulas and meals.
We are thrilled to announce the launch of the NEW Bright Horizons Family App. The app will offer a variety of features that will give you the ability to get more information on your child's day than ever before, as well as being able to notify the nursery of any changes to your planned pick-up or absences, as well as booking extra sessions.
Where possible we look to offer flexible booking patterns and a range of funding options, including the government's 30 hours funded childcare* provision. To request pricing and availability, please request a call back by clicking the button below.

I have worked for Bright Horizons since 2008 whilst studying for my level diploma in child development at Harlow College.
I started as a student and worked my way up to Deputy Manager.
I have recently passed my level 2 mental health awareness qualification and level 2 counsellng skills. I am extremely interested in furthering my career.
I thrive on acheiving my goals and supporting and promoting our Nursery staff.
My passion lies in ensuring children in our care develop and flourish to their best abilities whilst supporting our families in our safe and secure enviroment.
The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
