Our lovely and welcoming day nursery in Kingston has a warm feeling as soon as you walk in. We're based on Richmond Road in a great location which is within walking distance to the River Thames and Kingston town centre.
We have a very established team who previously worked together in the old ‘Outstanding’ setting on Lower Kings Road and moved to the newly refurbished Richmond Road setting in September 2017. The nursery is convenient for commuters; only a five-minute walk from Kingston town centre, rail station and bus station. Parents can use our forecourt for drop-off and collection.
Our bright, spacious, baby and toddler rooms are located on the first floor, we have 2 nursery class rooms on the ground floor and 2 Preschool rooms in the basement which lead straight out on to the garden. All children have access to our beautiful adventure garden throughout the day. Asquith, as part of the Bright Horizons family, pride ourselves on providing safe, exciting and enjoyable nurseries where children thrive as they learn. All children have the opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities such as ‘Lucy Sparkles & Friends’ on a Wednesday morning, ‘Teddy Tennis’ on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons and all the staff are trained to provide ‘Boogie Mites’ classes which happen throughout the week.
We will be delighted to welcome you to Kingston Day Nursery & Pre-School. Our friendly, experienced and highly qualified staff are on hand to conduct a personal nursery tour at a time that suits you.

Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.
Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!
