I've worked with children for the past 11 years and have continued to enjoy it immensely. It's a fantastic field to work in with continuous improvements to make, new challenges with the children and a vast array of interesting approaches to educating the little ones.
My passion is speech and language along with behaviour management as I find it very rewarding when you can see positive changes in the children's development.
I bring my love for reading, gardening and theorists to the nursery to share with the children and inspire my team.
I am a caring, confident and passionate person and it is these qualities that make me the hardworking and dedicated Deputy Manager at West Hill. Having always been a passion of mine, I have experience working with children for over ten years and after having a child of my own my ambitions within the childcare industry grew. I am incredibly proud today to be at Deputy Management level. In all that I do I try to achieve the highest possible outcome and so the childcare that we provide is of the best quality.
Qualities that I hold dear to me include the relationships that I build with members of staff, the children and the parents which encourage me to continue to give my all to this role and being a family orientated person is reflective of this. In addition to this, communication is something that I value greatly as it is the driving force of success and progress, especially since it helps in all aspects of life- whether it be keeping parents up to date on children’s progress or working with and leading a team, I have the qualities that enable me to do this effectively.
The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
