A place to grow

Bush Hill Park children's day nursery opened in 1990 for children aged 3 months to  5 years and is based in a listed building within a conservation area.

The nursery, rated 'Good' by Ofsted is situated in a mainly residential area, close to Bush Hill Park train station in Enfield. Our lovely, welcoming nursery consists of three light and motivating rooms, all with high-quality resources and furniture, handcrafted by Community Playthings to support children in their early development. The state-of-the-art touchscreen computer and interactive whiteboard help to develop essential numeracy, literacy and computer skills.

There is a small secure courtyard area for outside play, with a larger playground located just across the road. For our babies, there is a dedicated, enclosed and safe area that will include soft Astro Turf for the little ones to explore, plus a story time den. For our older children, there will be a race track for trikes, two turret play structure, stage area, natural growing area and sand pit.

Our delicious, healthy and nutritious food is sourced from trusted suppliers. All food is prepared and cooked by our very own cook with menus changing seasonally.

Our friendly, experienced and highly qualified staff are on hand to conduct a personal nursery tour at a time to suit you.

Meet the Team

Bush Hill Park Day Nursery and Preschool Manager

Ciydem Cafer Monargali

My name is Ciydem Cafer Monargali, Nursery Manager at Bush Hill Park. I have been with Asquith/BH since September 2010, I started at Bush Hill Park as a Nursery Nurse and worked my way up to Room Leader, Third in Charge, Deputy and now Manager. Childcare is a true passion for me as I look forward to supporting the children's learning and development as well as supporting the team with developing into outstanding practitioners. Being the Nursery Manager at Bush Hill Park is the most rewarding job I have ever been in, just seeing the children learn and grow on a daily basis as well as having such a great working relationship with the parents makes every second of the day worth while.

Bush Hill Park Day Nursery and Preschool Deputy Manager

Jacki Booth

My name is Jacki and I am the Deputy Manager at Bush Hill Park. I have worked here since 2013, progressing from a part time position. I have worked in each room so have an understanding of the different routines and offer support with activities for the children, as deputy manger I ensure to form strong bonds with all children and families across the building. I also have a Primary Education degree which I use to support preschool with the transition to school.

Candy Floss

Candy Floss

Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.

Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!

Why Bright Horizons

The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
