Meet the Team

Elena Dumitru

Mum of a cheeky beautiful girl that attends at Finsbury Park Day Nursery. I have been in childcare over 8 years. I ‘ve been in Finsbury Park Day Nursery over three years working my way up from Room Leader to Manager.

I am very passionate about my role and commitment to the children, families and team I work alongside. In order to develop my knowledge further and be able to fully support my staff I am currently working towards my Level 5 Childcare and Management Degree.

I consider myself to be creative and thoroughly enjoy creating environments that enable children to develop, learn and reach their full potential. I believe that, every child is unique and I aim to create a safe and happy environment to cater to each child’s uniqueness.

Semiha Sinmaz

I have been working in childcare for 10 years and have been part of Asquith Bright Horizons for the past four years. I have a diploma in Team leadership and I currently work with the younger age group of the nursery and really enjoy watching them develop and flourish.

Candy Floss

Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.

Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!
