A place to grow

Bright Horizons' nursery in Oxford Business Park is located close to the M40 and Eastern Bypass and is ideally suited for parents who work locally or live in the surrounding area.

The purpose-built nursery boasts eight individual rooms, which are bright, spacious, highly resourced and are tailored to specific age groups. Our amazing, spacious outdoor environment consists of four outdoor play areas with free flow access from all ground rooms. The car park allows for easy and safe drop off and collection of the children. We offer a warm, welcoming environment supporting the transition from home to nursery, and we provide excellent nutritionally-balanced menus using fresh ingredients prepared by our own chef, catering for all dietary requirements. A unique Ready for School Programme including Growing Readers, Writers and Mathematicians prepares children for their transition to school.

Our unique Healthy Hearts and Minds activities provide inspirational and engaging learning experiences using the innovative and well established Boogie Mites and myHappymind programmes.

An enriching Ready for School programme gives every child the opportunity to gain knowledge and confidence to thrive in school and beyond.

Our fees include all meals and snacks, nappies, nappy cream, bottles and formula baby milk as appropriate.

Meet the Team

Bradmore House Nursery Managers

Bryony Bennett

I have been with Bright Horizons for 7 years, and within that time have worked in 3 different settings and worked my way up from Nursery Assistant, to Nursery Manager. I have held a Managers position since September 2016, leading one of our sister nurseries, and moved over to become the Manager of Bradmore Road in September 2017. During my time with Bright Horizons, I have gained copious amounts of experience, allowing me to build upon my own skills and career succession. Building a team, watching the children flourish and providing exceptional care and education is so inspiring, and is what makes me proud to lead Bradmore Road Nursery.

Candy Floss

Candy Floss

Hi, my name is Candy Floss, I joined Bright Horizons in March 2010 as the ‘Super Safety Hero’ to help nursery children stay safe and manage risks. My role as a Health and Safety Super Hero is unique to Bright Horizons and I’m in every nursery, 365 days a year.

Back in 2010, I saw a job advert for a Zebra Super Safety Hero – I was very excited, applied and was invited for an interview with several other zebras. We were interviewed by all the children who then voted on which of us would be their Super Safety Hero. It was hoof biting but I was thrilled when they told me I was the most voted for by the children who all loved me because of my cape and bag. My bag is very special, if something fits inside, it’s a choking hazard. You might be wondering how I got my name. The children in our nurseries chose five names and voted for their favourite. I love it as it’s unique, I mean have you ever heard of a zebra called Candy Floss? Exactly!

Why Bright Horizons

The Bright Horizons passion and enthusiasm for providing high-quality care isn’t just common knowledge within our own business – we’ve also gained some impressive accolades from external sources for excellence as both a childcare provider, and as an employer. We are the only childcare company to have been listed for the last 11 years as one of the country’s top 50 “Great Places to Work” by the Great Place to Work Institute.
